Triceratops

| Triceratops (try-serra-tops) meaning
Three-Horned Face, lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 65
million years ago. Probably the largest and most well-known ceratopsian dinosaur, Triceratops
was up to 30 feet long, stood 10 feet tall and weighed about 7 tons. This herbivore walked
on 4 legs and lived in herds as it dined on the lush forest vegetation. Triceratops
is best recognized for its huge head comprised of a bony frill, parrot-like beak, and
three horns. But even the bone-piercing horns of the Triceratops were often no
match for its most feared enemy, Tyrannosaurus. Found in North America. DinoStoreus offers a wide variety of dinosaur skeleton models, dinosaur skull models, dinosaur figurine models, and much more.
