Brachiosaurus

| Brachiosaurus (brak-ee-oh-sore-us) meaning
Arm Lizard, lived during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 163 to 143
million years ago. The Brachiosaurus name is derived from its giraffe-like stance,
with its front legs being longer than its back legs. One of the largest land animals, this
sauropod was over 40 feet tall, 85 feet long and could weigh up to 80 tons. With its long
neck and long front legs, Brachiosaurus was able to eat from the tops of the
tallest trees, consuming massive amounts of vegetation. Found in Tanzania near the East
Coast of Africa, and North America. DinoStoreus offers a wide variety of dinosaur skeleton models, dinosaur skull models, dinosaur figurine models, and much more. To see all of our Brachiosaurus dinosaur products available for purchase, please click here: Brachiosaurus.
